Roku stick or better

Hi

I am thinking of buying a Roku stick as its simple and has what i need..

yet i see some forum member say this is outdated

is there anything better than a Roku stick that has a remote

this was mentioned yet it does not have a remote control

A lot of the Android TV boxes is great and powerful. Only downside is remote or Airmouse. not an great experience. I have a Roku stick on one tv and a Android box (cloudgate circle) on the other tv. The Roku stick is great, so far no problems for me. Remote works great, very good experience. Android box gives me more, like email and a load of other apps and games etc, but navigating through it with my Rii airmouse, can get to me sometimes. You'd probably be able to get a better remote for it, than me. Luck of the puchase, I think. I took this airmouse on suggestion. So be careful of people suggesting remotes, they might like something you won't.
