Hey Guy's,
So i recently purchased the Chromecast (and sold it a few days later) and turns out i didn't do my research properly before buying this thing, as it is not what i needed/wanted?
Now, im planning on replacing it, but i don't know if the replacements are what i actually need/want?
Im looking at either the Roku Streaming stick, or the Amazon Fire stick. What i want is, a stick that can plug into the HDMI port of my daughters TV, where i can install app's such as PLEX, BBC Iplayer, Netflix, Hulu, Pandora (i know i cant have Pandora and BBC Iplayer in the same region) etc. the actual app needs to be on the stick, i do not want to have to cast the media from a Phone or Tablet.
I want the actual stick to have the app, connect to the Wifi and stream the content to the TV (Thats where the Chromecast falls short).
Do these 2 devices (Roku and Amazon Stick) do just that? And if so, between the 2, which is the better option?
Thanks in advance.
