Roku

Hi Guys,

Wife bought a new Smart TV with a soundbar. The issue I have is the sound bar as a small little cable that is suppose to plug into a DVD player or some other device, does not plug into the TV directly.

Was wondering is the Roku device has those red and white sound prongs. Trying to get the sound on the TV to play through a sound bar. If so I'll just get a Roku. If not I'll have to make another plan...

Which Roku device are you talking about? In any case, no it doesn't have those audio jacks. The Roku 4 does have optical audio which might be an option with the soundbar?

If you get the right Roku. I know the Roku I have has A/V jacks as does the new Roku Express+.

Can you give me the model number of the TV and Soundbar? If they can't connect directly, I'll see if we have a converter that will do the trick

Oh I never knew that the A/V jack could handle the split cables
