Can we get away with Friday 3rd ?

Doubt it, I think Friday, Saturday and the whole of Sunday again.

The weather is slightly warmer than last weekend in parts of SA. At a wild guess I would suggest a saving of 500MW, just enough to stay below the capacity limit. As long as nothing breaks...

I started maintenance on my 65Ah Ritar battery Tuesday...10 Hour discharge @ 6.5A down to 10.8V.

Then charging for 24 Hrs. Solid as a rock. Bring it on Eskom.

Yet we had no load shedding on Tuesday which was the highest demand recorded for this year so far.
 
*crosses fingers and hopes for load shedding as is leaving country for a month in order to get all maintenance done in one fell swoop while not feeling any of the immediate repercussions*
