Romantic Evening/Dinner

Probably too late for suggestions now, but about 2 years ago, for an anniversary dinner, I made whole tuna with rice and some "spice up your rice" stuff, and asparagus with olive oil(all this is easy to make, quick and can be eaten cold, so no rush) had some strawberry's and cream for dessert. Laid the table on the patio, nice bunch of flowers, ice bucket with champagne, floating candles in the pool, lekker music in the background. Asked a mate of mine to come over once I sms him and he played waiter for the evening, even dressed in a suit. He left shortly after serving dessert, but not before lighting candles in the bedroom. Bought some chocolate body paint to play with once the real fun started....t'was a gooood night!

Ways and means to avoid that dude....lol....but ya, was quite the eventful night! Amazing how kind a woman can actually be for the next couple of uhhmmmm.....hours! hehe

Wow, wow, wow!!!! I never knew that I was that romantic!!!:D:D
My housemate (female) was completely mesmerised!! I cooked, cleaned the room, lit the candles, sprinkled the rose petals in the room/bedroom/ staires (duplex) and all was in order.

We started at around 8pm with some red wine (ag, some Woolies staff made me buy sum bitter one where as I specifically asked for a sweet one:sick:). So we had to settle for some good old brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:o.

Anycase, then the main course, then the desert.
We danced to some really cool R'nB (the tracks we played at our first date - March 2003). We retired to bed at around 12/12ish.

Now, for the best part (from my side), I gave her intimacy, we just kissed, and stuff but did not go beyond that.

Since this morning I have been flooded by her sms's telling me how much she enjoyed herself for the past 2 nights (starting on the yesterday at 00H00:00) her birthday!!


Thanks to all those who contributed, much appreciated. I intend keeping this as they are for as long as I can.

That sounds lovely. Especially the fact that you did not pressure her into "going beyond that" as you put it.

Was this for your wife? I am a little confused - you talk of your wife sometimes and now I read about 'housemate'?

Yeah, we both wanted to do it but I felt that we should rather just enjoy the moment and nothing else.

She's my girlfriend of 5 years, so I just call her "wifey" cause that's exactly what she is to me.:p
