If you are asking what i think about libertarianism, i do tend to side with the libertarians on this site more often than not, there is a lot of sound pragmatism woven throughout a lot of their thinking, but the one area i do differ is the question of regulation. I do feel targeted regulation is needed to keep business on the straight and narrow because in many cases market forces are insufficient.

Its quite simply really, i hate slow monopolistic bloat and waste wherever i find it, which includes government a lot of the time, but not all of the time. When government can do a better job than private business then i prefer government, but when government retards the activities of superior entities, processes or ideas i want it to get out of the way. Which is only logical really, its all about merit, I believe in merit.

I always want the best doing their thing, which doesn't happen all that often with government because much of the time those given power over others are non-experts elected by the uninformed. Just look at our country

There are parts of her thinking i like: the pragmatic bits i alluded to in my post above, but as a Christian i think you can imagine that there is a lot i dont like. What are you getting at?
 
It looks like the race is on from the left and right to see who can come up with the most vicious, low-class and ugly manner to smear their opponents.

Well that's the way the Republicans have been acting since Obama stood for the Presidency, so they are quite used to it, actually.
Their anti Obama smear campaigns have brought American Politics to an all time low.

Sure. And it looks like the left don't mind dragging it even lower. How low can the stupid and the evil (don't know which is which these days) go?
 
Just two more losers like McCain and that idiot from Alaska.

It was difficult enough just to find a Republican candidate for pres so a running mate must be from the bottom of the barrel.

Come to think of it all Republican politicians seem to come from there.

Oh yeah, and Paul Ryan is really a good choice in policy. He is the poster child for change. In his entire political career of 13 years he has managed to get through two bills.

1) In 2000, Paul Ryan passed a law that that changed the name of the post office in Janesville WI. The post office is now called the Les Aspin Post Office Building.
2) In 2008 (Or 4 election cycles later) Ryan introduced a bill that changed the way arrows used in bow hunting are taxed. From HuffPo, “Specifically, his bill amended the Internal Revenue Code to impose a 39-cent tax per arrow shaft, instead of a 12.4 percent tax on the sales price. The bill also includes points suitable for use with arrows in the 11 percent excise tax on arrow parts and accessories.” Ryan, an avid bow-hunter basically wrote a piece of legislation into the tax code, that would save him and his buddies from having to pay sales tax. Arrows average anywhere from $35 to $185 dollars.

Interesting opinion by STUART ROTHENBERG, but doesnt it leave the door open for Dems to crit the Rep campaign on both fronts, i.e. Romney personally aka his taxes etc, and on [Ryan's] economic ideology?

Unless Obama has a baby-mama come out of the woodwork :D, I cannot see how the Romney is going to win

What I love about Paul Ryan being elected VP running mate is that it puts that specific school of thought under more focus.
