A 2? Cute.

classic! Size counts FiestaST

Just received the Sailing 4, officially ready for Eksdom. 300 cycles in the battery though, before dropping to 85% of original capacity, sort of expected more but it's not like it is going to be in use all the time I suppose...

My sailing 6 charged my HTC One M7 from 0 to 100 twice and was on 1 bar at the end.

For a 20k mha bank, it really doesn't last too long.

Charges my note 4 around 3 - 4 times, 0 - 100.

Note 4 battery is 3k mah.

Not as many as I'd of thought either for a 20k mah.

These Cellucity guys; to be expected; are pricey.

My lovely Sailing 2 I got for R235 at Takealot.

I have a Romoss and Adata Powerbank. Both look the same, charge my phone in the same time and have the same LED indicators and flashlight. The only difference is one comes with a Samsung Cell but then again, the ADATA 10,000mah costs only R229.

Besides mha rating, does anyone know the difference between the Sailing vs Solo models? e.g. Sailing 3 vs Solo 3.

A Romoss rep indicated the following about the difference between Romoss Sailing & Romoss Solo, in a thread about one of their concept stores on in Asia:

Sailing: Battery cell manufactured by Samsung, 500 recharge cycles, & 2600 mah per cell.
Solo: Cell manufactured by Romoss, 300 recharge cycles, 2000 mah per cell.
*Polymoss: I couldn't find details, but I'll update this reply when I do.

I think it's NB to get this info out there because everyone assumes all Romoss powerbanks are powered by Samsung, but it's only the Sailing series (which is a bit more expensive). I see Takealot is having another powerbank sale today. I'm happy with my Romoss Sailing 3, just bitter I paid so much for it compared to the sales this week.

Yeah, they've (Takealot) had an amazing special where I essentially got a Romoss Sailing 3 7800mAh for free. I wanted the Onetto car holder and this special threw in the Romoss for just 1 rand more than the cost of the car holder.

Busy charging my Z3 with the Sailing 3 I got for R1 (thanks to Takealot's special) for the first time. It even doubles as a torch. Fantastic little device. I'm definitely getting another once I use this one up.

My sister's 10400 mAh Sailing 4 doesn't have the torch though which is kind of silly by them. I mean it's a higher tier so if anything it should have the torch AND something else my one doesn't have.

How long does your powerbanks last? I bought a Romoss Sailing 3 in September and used it regularly (say every second day). Lately not so much and when I try to use it now it seems faulty. Was plugged in today the whole day and barely build up a charge at all.

Maybe you destroyed the battery? Did you use it till it was completely dead?
