Please note that they were mucking around with this BS again last night. Lost almost 80% of my signal between 20:45 and 22:30. I was downloading when it happened, my speed as 57kbit/sec on a torrent and suddenly disconnected, no signal LED's lit on the UTD.

I lose signal because I have a directional antenna on this BS to avoid basestation hop which is detrimental to my DNS and servers.

Problem was gone this morning, got almost 1MBps on a speed test!

And as usual, no indication on their site, nor incident report.

Antenna/PA/Transmit section problems don't raise fault indicators on the iBurst website, although they should.

I was told by the helpdesk that this was maintenance and that a message had been posted on the iBurst site beforehand, informing people of the downtime. I can't find a thing on the site, which is no surprise.

FYI: I thought I would humour myself and ask why they don't mail clients anymore, informing them of scheduled maintenance. The answer: Too many subcribers and not enough mail server capability. They're too busy advertising instead of focussing on their own infrastructure needs, it seems.
