Root without CWM

I have just purchased a Galaxy Note 10.1 second hand.

Installed root checker basic to find out if it is rooted - which confirms it is.
However when going into recovery mode I see that it pops up with the standard recovery, and not with CWM or TWRP or others.

Is that possible at all?

You don't need to "re root", just flash CWM if you want it.
