Rooting a ZTE Maxx

Hi there

I recently bought a ZTE Maxx which I would like to root... I'm familiar with the process as I did it on my Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo.. I've tried about 4/5 different methods without any success.. What else can I do?

[KitKat 4.4.2 running on a Mediatek MT6572)

Best to go to a chinese search engine (baidu.com) and type in "ZTE Maxx 4.4.2 Root)

Then translate the pages
