Hi guys spend the better half of the last two days trying to root my device, and failed miserably.I am trying to root it so I can install USB host controller to get OTG working, or I am at least hoping it would fix the problem.Host controller isn't working, although touted to support OTG.
I want to try any thing short of loading a custom rom first, but I assume I need to root the device any ways before I am able to load a custom rom. Then the question is, where can I find a compatible rom, as aoson has nothing on their website, the links are all dead.

Which means I have to back up current information before I attempt any thing of the sort, what is the best tool for that ?

This the tablet I have.

Could some kindly point me into the right direction ?

Thanks :D

Get your self Tasselhof-RootScript and Mobango, update tasselhof folder with the latest adb drivers from the mobango folder once it has installed your tablet drivers and is able to access is.You may need to update both super user and busy box you need both.

If you need further instructions, you should not be rooting in the first place
