Route Planner Sorftware

I'm new to this GPS thing, I have used my Nokia 6110 navigator extensively and loved it. The phone broke and I went out and bought a Mio Moov 200. I'm still learning it, getting used to it. The Nokia maps was just awesome.

Anyway, to help me along and speed things us I'm looking for some mapping software that can export routes and such to the GPS.
I'm not even sure if this can be done with a Moov 200, but it would be excellent to have some mapping software similar to Mapstudio of Garmin.

Is there something like this for free or should I just fork out the money for Veza Route Planner?

Is there a full free version somewhere? On the Garmin site there is only updates, no full version.
