Hi all,

I am trying to get Route Sentry installed and configured on my new ADSL line.

I have installed RASPPOE as required and have so far created 1 dial up connection - however the Properties | General | Connect using box - "ISDN channel ... " is ticked??
Perhaps if I get the next bit sorted, I can return to creating accounts in RASPPOE.

The next bit is to turn my Mega 200VWR into a modem or bridge mode - I cannot seem to find the options to do that? Anyone have an idea.

Also, how do I set the modem so that it does not connect automatically to my ISP?

The next step is to configure Route Sentry. I'll be using the step by step guide in the main Route Sentry thread - hope I don't run into problems there as I won't have an internet connection to request any help!

maybe someone can answer those questions cus thats the same thng i wana know ... :)

Have you tried leaving the router As-Is? My 100WR2 worked out of the box with the instructions on the antibody website - Never touched the router even. The router even dials up with the default Telkom guest account still! Routesentry FTW :D

AFAIK the only way to put it in bridgemode is to run the setup wizard on the router one of the options is PPoE or bridge.

i dnt see any of the options on the antibody site..

Mega 200vwr+route Sentry

ok it works  pls ppl do not worry that it says isdn it just a glitch in the xp os and i use the connection created by raspppoe for my local connection then created a international connection using windows and low and behold im now raping my local only on local and visa versa :p

thanks to all
and the dudes at anti-body you rock thanks for helping us poor plebs
:eek::p:p

Mine also shows ISDN. Mine Works. So dont worry about it! Ignore it! You sure you followed all the instructions correctly? Mine had some problems sometimes with multiple connections, so I just created a PPPOE 'Dialup' connection and a seperate 'Broadband' WAN Miniport connection. http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/showphoto.php?photo=1238

Did you 'bridge' the router? If so, which option did you select in Quick Start | Connection | Encapsulation? Mine is set to PPPoE.

Did you have to change anything on the Mega 200VWR?

Is it as easy as installing RASPPPoE, Route Sentry and creating the dial up in RASPPPoE and a broadband connection in Windows?

Please provide some detailed advice, I've been waiting since beginning of August to get Route Sentry working on this router.
