Help please! :(

I have been trying fordays to get my routesentry working within vista. It allows me to connect local on my router (coming in to pc via LAN) and INt on PPPOE. After connection, only INT works and local is taken off int.

If i press "Set up routes now" i get tons of these errors:

08/09/2008 14:23:41 ERROR: The operation completed successfully, (168.167.0.0,255.255.0.0,0.0.0.0,2,12) 160

and i mean TONS!

help please

View the TCP/IP V4 settings of the Local account, look for "default gateway" somewhere in the advanced options, remove the tick at the tickbox and voila, should work.

If your router supports half bridge (pppoe relay) then you can do it with Vista.

I usually setup the Int account on the router and use the local account as the dialup account, since you can't have more than one dialup active in Vista.

Yo, i am trying to set up half-bridge mode on my 2 PCs (Vista and XP).
I want mine set up differently. I want my LOCAL in the router and want the International to be the PPPoE dial up connection. It works fine on the XP PC but it doesnt work on the Vista PC. You said it must be the setting of the LOCAL account. Will it work on the Vista PC if i change that setting in the router then?

Edit: I just tried putting the INT in the router and dial the local account AND TICKED that gateway setting off... Still didnt work :( sigh. It set up the routes and thats about it. No connection to anything
