Hey all
I hope that I can get some advice and some opinions here as I am now completely lost on what to do.
My problem started when I got my ADSL in Feb. I am less than 1900m from my exchange (according to telkom) and I am on imax3 according to the technician that was here about 2 weeks ago.
My problem is this:
Originally I was informed that my line was 10mbps capable and so I got the account. I couldn't sync at 10mbps to save my life due to SNR issues. They then dropped me to 4mbps and I am still having SNR issues.
I had a technician come out and tell me that it could be my pace router that is causing the poor SNR (is this possible? ) so now I am in the market for a new router.
I have these options:
D-Link DSL-2750U
Asus DSL-N12E
Asus DSL-N12U
Asus DSL-N55U
Asus DSL-N66U
What would you guys recommend ? (I would prefer not to take the R2500+ routers but will if they are indeed worth it)
My current SNR is anything below 6.5 while synced at 4mbps.
I would appreciate all advice !!
Regards.
