I have my router in half bridged mode. On my router I am connected to my saix account. On my pc I am connected to digichilli via a PPPoE dial-up connection (dont start a flame thread about them here). I leave the digichilli on when I am not at home to download. This allows everyone else in the house to use the saix which is obviously more reliable.

Q: Is there any way of preventing my pc from using the saix account if the digichilli times out or disconnects for any reason? As I see that it sometimes does this.
Bear in mind that the saix account comes to my pc by the LAN connection and I have not set up a dial-up connection for it.

Solja, yes you can do that. Just leave out the default gateway field in the TCP/IP v4 settings of your Local Area Connection.
If you do that, you won't have any Internet access, until you dial the Digichilli account.

Alternatively, you could run: 'route delete 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0' (requires administrative permissions though) before dialing the Digichilli account. The only issue with this is that it might not be permanent like with removing the Default Gateway address.
