Router cant connect. (is it broken?)

How do i know if my router is broken?

I cant connect to my ISP, route mode or bridge..none work...ADSL do sync (light is on)

Any help on this please?

1) Did you ADSL previously work?
2) Can you ping 8.8.8.8, but not like www.take2.co.za?
3) Did you run the diagnostics on the router?
4) If you have it in router mode, is NAT enabled?

1) uhm..yes...was downloading but when i got home i was dc'd.

2)Pinging 8.8.8.8 with 32 bytes of data:

Test the connection to your DSL service provider
Test ADSL Synchronization: PASS Help
Test ATM OAM F5 segment ping: FAIL Help
Test ATM OAM F5 end-to-end ping: FAIL Help

4)NAT enabled, both bridge and route dont want to work.

Are you on a capped or uncapped account? (if capped have you called your ISP yet?)

Well, he didn't ping www.take2.co.za like I asked, so I would currently assume that it is just a DNS issue.
