Shame 1derboy got through to the worst biatch with pms....the techies at Telkom that I have spoken to have all been quite clued up...been very lucky. Just keep insisting or otherwise ask to speak to the manager as per JohnnyQ.

I have had similar problems on a number of client's adsl connections. Seems that when they(meaning the server at telkom side) renew the session, it cuts the connection on your side, but something goes gaga on their side and it holds on to old session info, thus no new session can be initiated.
You have to call the dreaded 0800375375 and tell them to reset your session.

You have to call the dreaded 0800375375 and tell them to reset your session. Don't let them talk you into anything else, or follow any of their tech advice, ignore anything they say, just keep going like broken record and force them to reset the session.
