Router flashing

For the last 2 days my net has been disconnecting and my adsl light flashing, is that a problem with my telkom line?

Could it be from overheating, it was boiling hot and it is stinking hot in durbs tonight.

Mine's been doing it for 3 weeks. Seen a few ppl complaining in durban. I kinda fixed mine by bypassing the filter and taking the phone off the hook, as suggested by someone in my thread. Not sure if it would help your problem.

As i`ve learned on these forums recently, you can get a new router for R200. worked for me

so youre guess is that its the heat? and not my telkom line?,this is the first ive heard of routers flashing and disconnecting from the heat, my first thought was telkom line is fkd, but it was fine the other day, ive turned my router on its side and for now it seems to be ok, will post back if it starts again, its the first time ive seen my router do that, last night was an absolute cooker though one of the hottest days by far, i hope it is only a heat issue, will get a small fan and open more windows, and look into getting a better router. i have a D link 245...old i know

It was the heat ive turned it on its side and its worked well all day

Hmm,i think i might give this a try with mine,although if it is the heat i don't see why taking the phone off the hook would help.
