Hi there.

I don't know if the right section but here we go. My issue is as follows.

So I connect my router and have configured my ISP details and it works but after a while my whole Internet will be dead and I can't even access the router. Every single light on the router is working and can see the internet light is blinking a bit so it's still connected to my router.

I have everysingle pc and router setup for DHCP. I have my router connected to a switch and connected a Laptop directly to the router and still can't access the router but when I unplug the LAN cable and tried another port and can see the light change but still can't access.

After a restart of the router it works 100% fine for a while. So what could it be?

My router is a D-link dsl-2500u running the latest firmware

my router started showing those exact symptoms before packing up for good! did you have a spare one lying around that you can test? that will confirm things for sure.

I was downloading war thunder today when this happened. I heard the launcher of war thunder can do this. If I remembered correctly the last time I downloaded it it gave me the same issue.

Remove your pots filter if you have one.

Pots filet has nothing to do with this as I can see every single light is working when this happens. Lan connection will drop on the router and every single light of the router will be fine but no internet or lan to the router. My locla lan still works to any other device it's just the router even if I change port to let's say port 3 then port 3 will light up

Wild shot, but check if there isn't anything jogging the upload bandwidth. Dropbox is a culprit at my house.

I solved my issue. It was the war thunder launcher causing this. Ever since I finished downloading it I never had 1 disconnection. Thanks for the help anyway

Wow that is pretty strange, you really do learn something new everyday.

Yes I think it makes to many connections or use some sort of protocol that's making the router go haywire and then just craps out. Go google it a bit and you will get some results. Up until now it's been working fine.
