I don't even know if this is possible but here goes:
If I share a line in a house with x amount of people. Two of them play guild wars and one of them plays another online game (as do I). When they play guild wars, we lag to hell and gone but when we play they are fine.
I want to upgrade the line to 512 or 1024 (is there any point to 1024?) but they don't want to pay extra for bandwidth that they don't technically use (which is fine as well).
What I want to know is this: Is there some way that I can limit/shape the bandwidth so that they get a specific amount to play around with and I and the other bloke get the rest? Currently, they use PPPOE connections to get access.
Any ideas?
