Router problem

hi all
the problem im having is with the macroni premiem combo router
im running windows vista and never had a problem with it
but now it is doing this :
my router comes on, the dsl link light comes on and so does the one where my ethernet cable is plugged into
here is where the problem starts
the Lan light comes on and stays stable and on my PC near the network notification icon it shows that there is a lan connection between the router and PC, then all of a sudden the lan light on the router goes off and it shows that a network cable is unplugged (ive tried about 8 different network cables!)

Could be your lan port is failing. Test it on another router, if same occurs theres your problem.

Other than that, it's the router port, or router itself.

it was the actual router that was faulty
