so what happened lastnite, my connection between the pc and router just dropped, but reconnected shortly afterward.
I couldnt browse the web etc though, as my pppoe connection was lost.
then i tried redialling a pppoe connection but it just timed out
logged into router admin, and discovered that it was already connected to an axxess local only account, which i wasnt using/wanted to use, i then stopped that connection and rebooted the modem
after which i tried to dial a pppoe connection from within windows and still, it would time out. i was able to create the connection from within router config though, but this is not what i want.
any way, connected again, i surf and whatever so about 2hours down the line same thing happens, connection between pc and router lost, and when i check router config again, it has reconnected to the axxess local only account.
it happened a third time, but this time it did not connect to the axxess account because i've saved changes to the router config.
I still dont know what's causing the link to drop, could it be the bad weather?
any way whatever it is, also messed up my settings entirely
