Router Problems

Hi There,

Im have a problem with my internet.First of all i have setup my router to dial in on my adsl account and it connects fine but when i want to access the net from my pc which is connected to the router it connects to any website but hangs on waiting.....

i can tracert and website and it works out fine.

also if i connect using pppoe on my pc works fine but not on my router ?

Make sure that you set the VCI/VPI settings to 8/35 respectfully, as well as the MTU value of 1492 on your router.

i had those settings there already still not working.

All I can think of is that you haven't enabled NAT on the router.

Update:
If NAT is disabled, then you will be able to ping like 8.8.8.8 from the router (by connecting & logging in using Telnet), but you won't be able to ping it from your PC.

For some reason its working again
