Router shows line sync at 2876 - speedtest max down is 03??

i have a 2mb isp account .... any idea what could be causing the super slow down speed?
 
SNR Up : 7.0
SNR Down : 6.0
Line Attenuation Up : 8.0
Line Attenuation Down : 12.5
Data Rate Up : 352
Data Rate Down : 2816

down speed : 0.26
up speed : 0.26

isp
openweb (note i have never had a speed issue before - would get 250kbs regularly)

to add :

isp checked their end - reported everything normal, directed me to telkom.
telkom did port reset and few other things - same problem
went back to isp - they did some more things still no joy.

Yep.

But first unplug all other devices connected to your telephone jack. Then plug your modem/router cable directly into that jack, wait a minute and test again.
 
My SNR is 1.9db down. Seriously at 20mbps syncs just fine and never drops connection.
 
ok so unplugging everything and plugging just the adsl line made no difference - line syncs fine but the SNR down is still high at 5.

will log a fault with telkom and take it from there.

thanks for the assistance ...learned something new today:)
 
@ 6db it used to drop all the time. I flashed the firmware on that modem and since then i have a very stable line. :)
