hi all
I have a Mikrotik and I know it can do all of the below, but I am interested in finding out if any other manufacturers can do all of the below - I assume Ubiquiti can (can it?), what about TP Link / D-Link / other consumer routers?
Not interested in Cisco and not interested in setting up a firewall on a VM/pi etc. - must all be within a single router.
Not via command line, via said routers web interface.
- Static/custom routing
- DNS (eg: in its simplest form overriding dns for a specific host, or like on Mikrotik I can re-route all *.google.com to be looked up via a different name server)
- VPN Server (wireguard or openvpn ideally - not just pptp)
- VPN Client (without having it run the entire network over said VPN, custom routes can be used to route specific traffic over the VPN
- IPv6
