I know on the TPLink you can choose which version of 802.11 you want to run either - b/g/ or n so from 54mbps up to 300mbps

Sorry, i have people that hog the internet with the wifi. So if i can say limit the speed to x kbps

OK, so you want to limit the speed specific devices get when connected over wifi?

If your budget allows the Ubiquity products is amazing.

Create a "Guest Network" for all users you want limited and reduce the maximum speed on that network only. You then obviously connect to the default network which is unlimited.

I've done this with a TP-Link Router.

This is what i am looking for, i will have a look at some TP Link routers thanks
