Hi,

I currently have a Netgear DG834G router (in bridge mode) and I make 2 "dial up connections" to it using RouteSentry. This is great and works fine. I have a notebook that makes one "dial up connection" to the router (no RouteSentry).

I would like to run RouteSentry on the notebook as well. The problem is that the note book connects via wireless to the Router. That "RASPPPoE" that you have to install only supports a cable connection to the router from what I can gather.

I know you can use a proxy and all but I don't want to have my desktop computer on in order for my notebook to be able to use the internet.

Can it be done?

Thanks

I have 2 PCs that both use RouteSentry and both connect to my router via wireless, so you should have no problems doing this with your laptop.

Shot for that, did you use the "RASPPPOE protocol"? I did try using RouteSentry (on the notebook) but it didn't seem to work properly, it was using both the local and international accounts at the same time. It wouldn't distinguish between local and international sites.

yes, now has 'PPP over Ethernet Protocol' in my nic's property page which gives us the multiple connections on same nic capability.

make sure you click the 'set up routes now' button after both connections are established, even if its set to auto.
