Hi there everyone, I've been struggling with this for close to two days now so I thought I should just come beg for some assistance here.
I am currently setting up a routesentry connection on a windows xp machine (server). I would like to share the routesentry connection over the LAN so that other users do not have to run routesentry on their machines (we all use vista and I haven't been able to get it working properly on my vista machines.
I have read the thread about sharing the connection as well as the guide on antibody's FAQ section. I have managed to get routesentry working on the server 100%, ipig and treewalkdns installed, clients connected to server but I simply cannot browse on the client pcs. Checked proxy, checked that DNS was set to IP of the RS Server. Everything seems to be in order. I should mention that the only way I can get routesentry to work properly on the server is with the following config:
Local Connection To Use: Realtek Ethernet NIC
International Connection to use: Prepaid International PPPOE
Local Area Connection
DHCP: 192.168.1.5
Gateway: 192.168.1.254
DNS Server: 127.0.0.1
07/02/2008 08:25:51 Creating routing table
07/02/2008 08:25:52 Finished creating routing table
However with these settings I am unable to browse on client pcs although iPig establishes a connection and I am using the server as a DNS.
Any ideas???
