Hi guys, so I activated my fibre line yesterday through RSAweb on Vumatel infrastructure but I opted not to get the free router as I've been using my Dlink dwr-956m first on a telkom line then through Cool Ideas on a Vumatel line with no issues.
So I factory reset my router and plugged everything in once I received confirmation from RSAweb that my line is activated and now I don't have any internet access.. Been phoning and live chatting with RSAweb since yesterday and still no resolve.
I don't see how my router could be the issue since I was using it on a Vuma line through Cool ideas less than a week ago no issue. One RSAweb tech support mentioned that they don't support 3rd party routers so I should have opted for their router instead.
So basically I need some advice on how to set up my router. When logging in to the router it takes me straight to quick setup, which it passes the ETH test but test 2 it fails the DHCP and ppp test?..
Any ideas on what I can try to do? Setup? Or should I just fork out the extra 200 buck for the 'free' router... Tbh I almost feel like just canceling this account with RSAweb and go back to Cool Ideas as I never had any of this issues with them.
