So my 100/25 fibre line has been running for about 10 days now. Overall I am satisfied, no downtime and Netflix and everything else loads quickly and does not buffer.

Various Speedtests over wifi via Mybroadband & Ookla apps has never achieved a result of over 60mbps, even if sitting 2 metres from router and no other devices are connected. Testing with Samsung S9 at different times of weekdays and weekends.

Is this "normal" and should I just make peace and live with it, or is there something wrong that I should be contacting my ISP about?

Yes that can be seen as normal. Wifi speed tests do not count as they have no control over your hardware or your wifi environment. Hardline/lan speedests count.

If it bugs you, you could:
Upgrade your wifi router. Do you have a 5ghz router?
Build a faraday cage around your house.

Any ISP will ask you for a wired test as there's just too many variables with wifi that is outside of their control.

What are your WiFi settings?

-Channel
-Width
-2.4 or 5GHz?
- mode (A/B/G/N/AC)?
- Any nearby AP's causing interference? You can use Wifi analyzer from the play store to check.
