Rui Brites is the Team Lead for Product Management in Africa at RIM, and works closely with network partners to introduce new products and solutions to mobile subscribers in Africa.
With more than 12 years of experience in the telecoms industry, Rui has an excellent understanding of the African mobile landscape. Prior to joining RIM, Rui was the product and technical support manager at Samsung Electronics.
He spent seven years with Samsung, helping the company to grow its handset market share in partnership with the network operators. Before that, Rui was the national service manager for Philips Mobile, where he worked with the carriers to provide support and service to South African customers.
