Running a Pedestal Fan During Loadshedding - Looking for a Solution

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. If not, feel free to kak on me!

I'm looking for something that will run my pedestal fan during the late evening/early morning loadshedding slots. Durban is unbearably humid, even in the dead of night, and I'm sick of losing sleep.

A friend of mine suggested this - any idea if this would do the trick? I'm not particularly clued up on this sort of thing. I'll only be running the fan at its lowest setting.

I got that unit. It does not run my fan properly. I suggest get a decent portable fan like this one.
