Hey anyone know what program i can use to do this?

As i wanna use the http://www.beachwatch.mobi program on my PC.

I am sure their must be some kind of emulator.

Regards

your help will mean alot to me

Not sure about the .jad, but .jar should just a Java archive, can even open the archive with zip if you want.

After JDK 1.6.17 or something like that, you should be able to just double click the jar file to run it, otherwise you might have to open 'n command prompt and run it via java -jar filename.jar

thanks man...

its a .jad file though so cant open it with winrar though....

Quick search leads me to believe you will need to download a mobile simulator and run it via that.

Search for mobile simulator: I would be using Eclipse or Netbeans or something like that, but I reckon that might be a bit overkill for your purposes.

Any mobile simulator that supports Java should work.

Doesn't the .jad file just tell your emulator/simulator where to get the .jar file?
Open the .jad file in a text reader (notepad) and look for the URL in it

EDIT: just tried it. downloading the .jad file, opening in it notepad you find this URL: http://www.beachwatch.mobi/bw1.4.8.jar
from there you download the .jar file and then open that in a simulator.
