Apologies hunter, I've updated the ad. Expresso adapter is there, only the spoon & tamper is not. What it is basically is a spoon on one end and a tamper on the other end. Its just used to fill the expresso powder in the adapter and then the tamper to level it out depending if you making 2 or 4 cups. The indicator is in the expresso adapter. So in answering, yes the machine can be used.
