I lost mine (Don't even ask how )
But finding a replacement part is quite a task. The company that handles warranties and spares for Russell Hobbs isn't much help. And the only ones that I can buy otherwise is from the UK. They cost around 7 pounds (I can swallow that) but then adding 10 punds for shipping makes it rather an insane price for a piece of metal.

I can't find any local distrubutors either.

Has anyone had this problem before? And where can I find a new one?

The company that you say you contacted regarding the spares...is it Amalgamated Appliances? Managed to get my spares there for 2 of my RH appliances just fine.

Yes. It's them. Their support isn't much wonders, but currently they're my only hope.. so I'll keep bugging them.

Yeah...if you have the model number of the appliance it goes a long way to helping find the part you have but I'm sure they have it, went to their warehouse to collect the stuff and they had quite a big warehouse with lots of bins of the oddest replacement stuff...for example, had to get a replacement handle for the RH sandwich press. Good luck!

It's quite a drive to get there only to find out that they don't have parts. What will the replacement part cost me?

Why not just buy a new unit, and have a fitter and turner make two replacement paddles? :D
I don't think a fitter and turner does durable non stick surface coatings. Might be wrong.

Sorry but I feel I have to. :D
I was volunteering 5 nightshifts in a row, so during the day when you're awake you're bordering sleepwalking. The Lemon Curd bread that I made earlier the week has gone stale, and the arm was still in the bread. Not thinking that I have to take it out again. I threw the bread away and only realized it 2 days later... after the garbage has been picked up.

he swallowed it :wtf:
Erm.. it's quite big. Kinda like trying to swallow a jawbreaker. :wtf:

Try speaking to someone with a few more braincells there then...I managed to confirm that they had parts before I went through.

Dang, I see that they are located in Jhb. My maid managed to lose a handle end-cap and the dial of my RH steamer :(
