A critical security flaw within the standard library of the Rust programming language has been discovered.

It allows attackers to exploit a command injection vulnerability on Windows.

We've had to endure years of Rust fanboys telling us how amazingly immune it is from the kind of vulnerabilities that plague other platforms so this comes as a bit of a shock.

This is just for windows but there will be more exploits on other platforms as well.
