Ryse not actually 1080p after all

Really? What, like 5 arcade-like games? 'Quite a few' indeed.

I wouldn't call Gran Turismo and Wipe Out 'arcade-like' but anyway. The PS3 is seven years old. The point is Microsoft under specced their box.

The PS4 is around 30% more powerful.

I'm no expert, but the hardware in the consoles are not up to scratch. If you want 1080p gaming buy a PC. I'm pretty sure BF4 will run 720p because of the lacking hardware.

If you're saying the PS4 cant run 1080p with the hardware it has, you're also saying any current mid range PC cant run at 1080p, since PC gamers have already claimed these upcoming consoles are similar to mid range PC's :erm:

Neither of the games you listed was truly 1080p...

Actually, the point is, Microsoft created hype that they can't deliver on, and Ryse is just another example of this.

I don't think anybody should care about the previous generations. The PS3, I believe, wins if you only want to look at the number of 1080p games, but who cares? What matters is the next generation, and as far as this game goes, we wont be able to compare it to a PS4 version anyway.

Both PS4 and Xbox One don't come close to what gaming PCs in terms of power. I think the Battlefield 4 multiplayer is running at 720p on the PS4

Consoles don't come close to PCs when it comes to power. And I didn't say that, if you read the thread again I said most games won't be 1080p(at least not at the start), why do you think they changed BF4 to 720?
