I would give it a try. Just say it isn't what you expected. Unless you damaged it, then I guess it is a different story.

I would try to return it. I once returned a router to makro more than a month after purchase because it wasn't sufficient for my needs. Used it only once. Granted they gave me a gift voucher, but I still got my money back!
