I recently noticed that my phone has started peeling already.
Nothing huge but at under 2 months old it is a bit disheartening and can simply not in my view fall under wear and tear.
I contacted Samsung about it yesterday and they called me back today.
The options they have given me:
I can take it in for assessment (around an hour drive there and an hour back again to do so).
They will not be able to repair it while I wait and can not give me an ETA.
I will have to go back and collect it once repaired.
They can collect it here, assess it then decide if they will repair under warranty.
They can not tell me if they will deliver it again or what delivery charges will be if they decide it's my fault.
I can book it in at a Vodacom shop.
I do not want to go this route due to all the issues and delays I have read about on this forum. I don't want to wait 3 months for my phone to be returned simply because of a back plate and usb cover that have sub standard plating and really do not trust techies to not screw it up in some other way.
