I have an S9+ with cracked front and back screens and damaged LCD. Otherwise it works fine, but the screen is cutting my fingers, and it looks crap. I've been quoted 4.8k to repair. I don't need or want a new phone. Thoughts and recommendations for repair places to try?

does it still work? get a case and put a screen protector on it so it wont cut your fingers more.

You'll have to ask yourself if you will get a similar spec'd phone for lets say R5k, maybe 2nd hand
Unfortunately due to the AMOLED screens they are more expensive than the LCD screen replacements.
Other option is to buy a screen replacement kit and DIY
Or do as previous forumite has said, and just stick it out until it no longer works

We've got a guy at work with a Samsung with a badly cracked screen that still works. He put a screen protector on it to patch it and he uses it like that.
