A cellphone store at the Glen shopping centre in Ormonde, Johannesburg, was robbed on Monday evening, Gauteng police said

Knee-jerk reaction of some shops will be not to keep any stock at all, but will order on an "as needed basis" for new and upgrading customers.

Or improve their security either by relocating or altering their existing design....

I went in to MTN in centurion a good few months ago and they told me they no longer keep stock on the premises and if you want something they will order it for you. I thought it was a silly idea then, I guess this must have started a while back.
