I find this commies statements to be mere posturing and contrary to his parties position.
Sure the ANC are arrogant in the extreme, believe they will rule forever and that the masses will follow them anywhere should they so ask, like good little sheep.
The problem with Cronin and his wannabe commie mates is that he and his party are complicit in this by being part of the tripartite alliance, which ultimately provides the support base for the ANC to remain in power together with COSATU.
A clear message was sent to the ANC lackeys when COSATU refused to offload the shipment of weapons destined for Zim and called on other unions in neighboring states to do the same.
I can just picture the Pahads popping a few veins about this as it went totally against ANC policy and demonstrated, in no uncertain terms, who really rules the roost in this country.
If Cronin and his party are so concerned about our future, dump the tripartite alliance and form a viable opposition to challenge the ANC, please.
As long as COSATU and SACP provide unilateral support for these buffoons we will all be at the mercy of their ineptness.
But I wager Cronin and his cronies are also just looking out for their own necks and bank balances.
