On the upper floors of our office building in Claremont we felt the building rock very slightly for 30 seconds at around the same time as the quake. Nobody at ground level seems to have felt anything. I can't quite believe we'd feel a quake 1200km's away though... Perhaps the same plate movement or whatever that caused the quake caused some kind of minor tremor in Cape Town? I'm no seismologist though so no idea if that's even possible.

All I know is that everyone in our building (and the one next door) did not all have a collective hallucination.
