SA Internet messed up again?

Is it just me?

I have not been able to get any connection for the last hour or so. I tried my Telkom and openweb accounts and vodoacom 3g, and none of them could get me connected to any webpages or email....SA or international

So what the hell is going on with SA telecoms this past week?

Had a couple of issues lately but nothing on your scale.

Well It seems ok , just had all the problems before the weeeknd, and thought it was starting all over again. Maybe it was just a local thing in Durban.

Telkom Call Centre: [sounding official] Uh, everything's under control. Situation normal.
Gory51: What happened?
Telkom Call Centre: [getting nervous] Uh, we had a slight system malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
Gory51: We're sending ICASA up.
Telkom Call Centre : Uh, uh... negative, negative. We had a reactor leak here now. Give us a few minutes to lock it down. Large leak, very dangerous.
Gory51: Who is this? What's your operating number?
Telkom Call Centre: Uh...
[Telkom Call Centre cuts the call]
Telkom Call Centre: [muttering] Boring conversation, anyway.

I've had a number of gmail "your chatter is broken again..." errors the last week.
 
Problems here too.
ADSL synchs fine and logs onto Mweb.
But the data is erratic to say the least.
Web and email.
Even skype is struggling - the little green tick comes and goes.

Now logged on via 3G.

Mweb - all fine here sir, must be your PC or network.

Much wailing and gnashing of teeth.....
 
I don't know if it's just me that spent a few days on GPRS or not, but my ADSL 4mbps is flyyyyyiinnggg ;) :D :p I is being have no issues :p
