Guantanamo bay would probably be the best of all options but still no "Get out of jail free" card.

Guantanamo Bay still has limited press oversight but has to be better than psychiatric facilities that are completely closed to all outside checks.

Tails is an acronym for “The Amnesic Incognito Live System”, a Linux-based live operating system that aims to preserve users’ privacy and anonymity.

The operating system can be booted on almost any computer from a DVD, USB stick, or SD card.

It also forces all connections to the Internet to go through the Tor network, so using Tails is an XKeyscore double-whammy, it seems.

You should be OK while actually using tails - it will be the initial OS download that will be suspicious.

Apply for a US visa and see what happens.
Two options are that it either gets rejected or, if approved, is flagged and the applicant arrested on arrival and whisked off to a concentration camp with nobody being any the wiser.

Mine is coming up for renewal now. Will see how it goes, as I tick most if not all of the wrong boxes.

Used to be you had to fill in a questionnaire before landing: Have you ever been or are still a member of a terrorist organisation? Now I would assume they have it prefilled on computer already.
