SA local elections set for November 1

ANC blaming their poor performance on only having 48 days to campaign. Not their actions of course.

Let me see ..... wasn't that exactly the same amount of days the other parties had ?

And, breaking news ANC, you don't get voted for based on your campaign, but by your actions since the last election.

Meanwhile the ANC might continue mismanaging Emfuleni and the poor will have to keep living in sewage filled streets. The only equitable service delivery from the ANC is no service delivery for anyone.

The poor just can't catch a break.

I was right about the FF+ getting votes in my area, not my ward per se, usually a person or two takes the piss and vote FF+, but this time around, they have a meagre but viable percentage. As I previously said, people around here don’t really like our DA ward councillor, so I won’t be surprised that he is the reason. Most surprisingly, the historical white areas haven’t even been counted… FF+ is getting votes amongst the coloureds where there is also a Muslim community, though I doubt the latter would vote FF+. ACDP always gets votes here, always small and has never grown in support.

How do you reconcile saying poor people deserve what they get for voting for the ANC, with getting upset when a DA mayor provides services for poor communities. Seems like a lose, lose situation to me.
