With regard to broadband services, the minister conceded that take-up had been sluggish. The department was, however, working on proposals on how to increase affordable access to the service.

Not as much as lowering prices of telecommunications.. all first world countries have affordable internet and voice services - thats why they're first world. If they had our prices they would remain in the doldrums..

Yeah I can see it now... you can only watch TV for 3 hours a month as you'll be capped for the remaider. Sad but true when you have VERY STUPID PEOPLE in charge of things in SA!
