Shivambu was in Malawi with Bushiri, the Deputy President was almost killed, Cyril wants an Afrikanner as an ambassador to the US and farm attacks are being exposed.

It's going to be a a lovely Sunday. 🙂

The MK will never hear the end of this and rightly so. They are already being lambasted all over social media.

So much for "think tank".

Unless the allegation that Malema deployed Floyd to the MK are true and this is part of his mandate, that is to delegitimize Zuma's party.

ActionSA has made submissions of alternative revenue sources to make up the gap should the 0,5% VAT be removed.

The talks were positive and now SARS and Treasury have to iron out the finer details. 🙂

The right wingers have always been too desperate, this is something they would do.
They certainly do. Recount the amount of times a story is published about a domestic farm murder where the wife killed the husband or vice versa.

Guess when it's like that to Afriforum and Co., it's part of the high crime levels everyone faces in South Africa and isn't used in their lying propaganda nonsense.

Anyone subscribed to News24?

Maybe they can give us the breakdown while we wait for the other media houses to cover the story in detail.

The City Press article you referenced, published on April 20, 2025, reports that the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Presidential Protection Unit are investigating an alleged shooting incident involving Deputy President Paul Mashatile’s official car. According to the article, the vehicle was reportedly shot at three times while Mashatile was en route home after an ANC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, approximately three weeks prior to the article’s publication. Mashatile’s spokesperson, Keith Khoza, confirmed the incident occurred on the N12 highway, and Mashatile was safely evacuated. However, there are reasons to approach this report with caution.

No other major South African news outlets, such as News24’s main platform, IOL, or eNCA, have independently verified or reported on this specific incident based on available information. Posts on X reflect skepticism, with some users questioning the story’s credibility and suggesting it may be sensationalist or politically motivated. Additionally, the lack of corroborating reports from other reputable sources raises doubts about the story’s authenticity. City Press is a credible outlet, but the absence of wider coverage is notable for an event of this magnitude.

The timing is also very sus.

3 weeks to mention that the Deputy President had an attempted hit on him?
