The DA has not accepted Godongwana’s proposals, as it is “awaiting a formal written settlement offer before responding to the minister’s request”, the DA’s federal council chair Helen Zille said in a statement.

“The DA can confirm reports that lawyers acting for the minister of finance have approached our lawyers proposing an out-of-court settlement, in the matter the DA brought to interdict the VAT increase scheduled for May 1.”
 
It actually has nothing to do with AuctionSA but keep up the propaganda.
Part of me thinks the DA and EFF should reject the out of court settlement since it's obvious the government knows the court will rule against it and ultimately strengthen democracy and accountability.

That is not how it is going to be spun. As @TheChamp says, the DA could learn from ASA when it comes to spin.
